Year Zero (also known as Halo 24) is the sixth Nine Inch Nails studio album, released on April 16, 2007 in Europe, April 17 in the United States, and April 25, 2007 in Japan. Year Zero is a concept album that paints a dystopian picture about what life might be like, and the state of events about 15 years in the future. This, as Reznor indicates, is completely different from his usual style of lyric writing
