This is one hell of an album…heavy, atmospheric and so so so good…
“The Second Wave is the second album by Swedish band Khoma. The band’s sound expands on their debut album Tsunami, featuring cello and piano on some tracks. It also features the breakthrough single “Medea.” Jan Jamte’s voice causes the album to be compared with bands like Muse and Radiohead. However, the music itself is somewhat different, with the influence of Cult of Luna evident (the original band of two of the members). Sonic comparisons have also been made with Sigur Rós.”
